I recall being in the back seat of my parents vehicle, while we drove to visit family. I vividly remember looking out the window, watching the people drive by and thinking, "I wonder what that person is thinking and what their life is like." I did not think anything of it then, but now it makes so much sense. Those were the early signs of my therapist heart.

I value people's stories, their healing journeys, the paths they embark on to obtain emotional wellness. I am humbled by the trust people place on me to listen and hold their stories, their thoughts and emotions. I believe that every person has the ability to reach wholeness and I am honored to walk alongside every person who chooses this healing process.

I have been married to my husband for over 10 years and we have two boys, ages 6 and 9. I enjoy gardening, watching planner videos and I love music. I used to sing praise songs at my church and I still do when I can, just to myself now. I enjoy working on my planner and enjoy hot coffee in the mornings.

I survived postpartum depression and anxiety after giving birth to both of my boys. For this reason, I am an advocate for parent mental health. I know that parenthood is not easy for either parent and I am dedicated to offering support. I want to normalize what parenthood really is and help reach those parents, who like me, suffered in the dark, without support and possibly feeling ashamed of needing help. You deserve support and I am here for that.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have worked in the mental health field since 2013. I have offered support to children, teens and adults throughout my career. I am trained and certified in Perinatal Mood Anxiety Disorders through Postpartum Support International (PSI).

I am a daughter of God and understand the challenges that come with being believers and parents. I offer Christian Counseling and provide a safe space where you can come before Christ, without judgment of the "status" of your relationship with Him. I only want to model the grace and compassion that only He gives.

Whether you are a new mom or not, seeking therapy can come with a mix of emotions. You may be feeling shame, fear or just unsure about how to seek support. We are here to offer our support in your specific needs, fears, worries, negative thoughts, sadness and/or anxieties. Therapy is a process of growth and discovery. In working together we can promote behavioral transformation by encouraging a healthy use and adoption of new attitudes, coping skills, beliefs and reactions. This process is not immediate - it takes time, effort, validation and support. Motherhood does not have to be painful or lonely, let's walk it together.

"be gentle on yourself mama, you have been reborn too."
